Call for symposia, BioMag meeting Paris, August 26th to August - 30th, 2012

The 18th International Conference on Biomagnetism will be held in Paris, France from
Sunday, August 26th through Thursday, August 30th, 2012. We will meet in the
beautiful 18th century Hotel de la Rochefoucauld d'Estissac, now a state-of-the-art
meeting center located a few hundred meters away from the Eiffel tower, the Musée
d'Orsay and the Saint Germain des Prés quarter.

The scientific program includes, but is not limited to, technological, methodological,
clinical and fundamental research in biomagnetism. This year, we will highlight the
quickly growing field of human brain dynamics, taking the MEG perspective but also
taking advantage of the multiple methods (EEG, fMRI) and recording levels (intracranial
EEG, LFP, unit activity) now available.

We are now calling for the submission of proposals for up to 20 symposia. A
symposium lasts 2 hours and should include 3-4 speakers. Submissions will be
reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Submit your proposal through the Biomag 2012
website (www.biomag2012.org) before November 15th, 2011. The Scientific Committee
may suggest to merge symposia addressing similar topics.

Call for satellite events, BioMag Paris, August 25th to August - 26th, 2012

The organizers of BIOMAG 2012 invite other parties to organize workshops,
educational courses, company-organized workshops and other types of activities for up
to 5 Biomag 2012 satellite events. Submissions will be reviewed and selected by the
Scientific Committee. Satellite meetings will be held before Biomag on August 25th and
26th.

Note that satellite events are not sponsored by BioMag 2012. We offer the organizers
of selected satellite events to book a conference room free of charge in Paris and to
announce the satellite on the BioMag website. The organization, including handling
participants' registration and all costs incurring for the organization of a satellite event
are under the full responsibility of the organizers of the satellite. Companies organizing
a workshop are charged a fee of € 3,000.
